MSK-IX provides a carrier-neutral infrastructure for co-location, peering and traffic exchange. Over 500 MSK-IX members in 10 cities are represented by communication providers, hosting companies, content providers, corporate, scientific and educational networks.
Connected members get new opportunities for online control of connectivity with other networks, improved availability of own information resources, reduced expenses on inter-network interaction. MSK-IX infrastructure is also actively used by participants for obtaining and providing of communication and IT-services.
MSK-IX Moscow network has 15 access nodes, including М9, М10, KIAEHOUSE and several other platforms in Moscow. All points of presence are connected by the high-speed backbone.
MSK-IX is one of the largest global traffic exchange points in terms of transmitted data and the number of members and is member of international European Internet Exchange Association (Euro-IX).
